After training at Altis in Phoenix under the guidance of Dan Pfaff, Andreas Behm and Stuart McMillan, Jeshua returned to his college coach Mark MacDonald to prepare for the Olympic year. As a Cougar, Jeshua enjoyed his most successful spell under Mark’s tutelage with three NCAA titles in four years at Washington State.

Jeshua is also a talented American Football player after going to Washington State on a football scholarship. He completed his freshman and sophomore years for the Cougars as a Wide Receiver before he stopped playing to focus on track.
